PhD, MD, and Master Programs in Neurosciences Clinical Research

The CCRE in Neurosciences offers higher research programs for the following degrees:

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, 3-4 years full-time) in a range of medical, nursing, allied health and related science disciplines
• Doctor of Medicine (MD, 2 years full-time)
• Master of Science (MSc, 2 years full-time)
• Master of Nursing by Research (via the School of Nursing, please contact Dr Anne McIntosh)
• Master of Occupational Therapy ( MOT, through La Trobe University please contact Professor Leeanne Carey)
• Master of Physiotherapy (by Research) (1.5 years full-time, via the School of Physiotherapy)

If you are interested in undertaking a higher degree by research, the first step is to identify a supervisor you wish to work with and a project you are interested in.

Once you have found a supervisor who agrees to supervise you and a research project you propose to study, you need to apply for a place in the chosen course to the university.  Application procedures depend on the degree of your choice. Please refer to the links above for details.
